Week 11 is up! Another 41 to go.
You wanted to get a new costume this year but then you learned that your friend Bryn is going to be Elsa and decided that if two of you will look like twin sisters it will be fun!
We have a Russian bakery not so far from our home. We often stop by it on the way home from school. This type of bread (Borodinskiy) is our favorite and it tastes exactly as the one we ate in Russia. It's usually still warm and smells so good that we can't wait to get home and take turns in biting it.
Another snow storm. In March. Hopefully this is the last one for this winter. You've been looking forward to it. The school got closed and you planned to play in snow. But it was not just snow, but also an icy rain. Such a gross weather. You kept asking to go out, but I wasn't ready to weather the weather. But then daddy went outside to dig out the car and let you join him. 10 minutes of happiness was so much better than nothing.
I guess sleeping across the bed is more comfortable..
No matter how many times I tell him that my working space is NOT his pathway from the window to the floor he seems not to care.
Daddy got a box with treasures for you at the flee market a while ago and kept it to surprise you one day. Today was the day! You spent good few hours exploring all the different beads, necklaces and bracelets.
I am greedy when it comes to books. I can't borrow just one book for you, or two or five. I have to bring you A LOT of books from the library every single time. You are always so excited and grateful, and your strategy is to first flip through all of them and study the contents and illustrations. This is how you spend the first hour, then you select the one that appeals to you the most and start reading it.
